....US debt talks teeter on edge of collapse

.White House talks to avert a disastrous early August debt default teetered on the edge of collapse late Friday as Republican House Speaker John Boehner abruptly quit the negotiations.

US President Barack Obama condemned Boehner's decision and angrily called top lawmakers to the White House for emergency negotiations at 11:00 am (1500 GMT) Saturday, warning "we have run out of time" with an August 2 deadline looming.

"I expect them to have an answer in terms of how they intend to get this thing done over the course of the next week. The American people expect action," the president said at a hastily called public appearance.

There was talk there was a secret deal reached yesterday that spawned a flood of calls to GOP leaders. If there was a deal, then the calls worked.

Obama wants this to fail. He is hoping that it does and he (And his compliant news outlets) will try and pin all blame on Republicans for the failure, and the now sagging economy.

Problem is, Obama is backed into a corner. He now has to pick and choose who to pay him self. And he knows he will be held accountable.

Massive game of chicken, and Obama blinked. Now the question remains. Who is held to account for the after math.

The quickest way to get ANY sensible thing done is to get you out of the way King O Blah Blah.
This arrogant, childish POC is the reason we are in a depressed economy. He has spent us into bankruptcy and sits back and angrily demands answers and fixes from the adults. When the adults give sound, logical plans to fix HIS mess, he dismisses them. He demands negotiations and fails to negotiate. He demands civility and he is the most uncivil in the arena. He demands answers from others yet has none of his own.

For the sake of what is still salvageable in this country, we need to boot this turd out of office ASAP.

My prediction is the debt ceiling gets raised and there are some minor deals that look like both parties cut something substantial. The majority of Republican's aren't quite there yet with actually having the Kahuna's to limit spending on all their pet projects. The Dems....well...that's always been their MO, so they aren't budging ever on a spending cut. The deal will probably include some tax increases, but this is great drama.
