Those new light bulbs - the ones that put out one candle power - are an ingredient in leading a stress free life? I just don't think so; not for me. I tried 'em. Don't like 'em.
If the difference in my power bill generated by changing light bulbs creates happiness, then I would have been guilty of living a little too close to the edge. And I just don't do that.

I know dang good and well what's going to happen. People will - rightly - holler like hell over the forced change and The Gov't will react to 'the will of the people' by making the old ones legal. Then they'll tax the hell out of us when we buy them.

As I said, some of the suggestions are good, others are just plain stupid. This is one of the stupid ones.

What's stressing me is that we have to remember to take some of the odd old style light bulbs that fit various light fixtures and get to the hardware store and stock up before they're gone. Those feds stay up late at night trying to think of new ways to add to our stress levels.:D
