Senator,

PLEASE Filibuster the debt bill.

It will instantly turn our unheard pleas into a shot heard round the world.

We can get our message out, and with it weild some real progressive power.

Progressive solutions are the best solutions for a free Democracy.

Just imagine, this would make our voice as loud as the billionaires tea party!
After all the accusations by liberals that conservatives wanted the US to default on ourr loans and that it was conservatives refusing to compromise it comes out that it was liberals that wanted it.

2. No, an old fashioned filibuster.

Take the floor, talk, and don't yield for anything. He only has to delay the vote by about 12 hours to effectively kill it and force the President to use the 14th.

And if Bernie can't talk for 12 hours, he can find 3 others to share the burden.

4. Sanders won't filibuster

even though he'll likely vote against it.

Neither will the right wing opponents Demint, Paul and Lee.

The leadership won't permit it. It's too crucial a measure with little time for grandstanding left.

7. Which is what will make it so loud. It will be front page news across the world. Updated at 7:59 AM

It will shake the bones and pocketbooks of the powerful. Women will scream. Tangerines will cry.

It is time to strike, the iron is hot.

A clean bill will be passed in emergency session by nightfall, should we do this.

5. Or else, make sure Obama picks the super committee members

or put all you money in credit unions, stop paying health ins. Stock up on food and water, make friends with you neighbors and let the economy crash. If it takes down the greedy, big banks and wall street maybe we will have a chance. After all we are use to tightening our belts, I for one am sick of their threats. The wealthy will wish they paid their fair of taxes for a "civilized society" Why do we pay their salaries, pension and health care, congress that is. We need an action plan, I'm tired of being scared.

8. So Bernie talks, the nation defaults and what good comes of it?

Higher interest rates, progressives taking the blame, the tea partiers getting what they wanted--the total collapse of the economy

Sounds like an excellent plan. Not.

9. Bernie instantly becomes the most powerful man in the world. Austerity fails. Updated at 7:59 AM

Tax hikes on the rich are passed in the next few months.

Both houses pass a clean bill by nightfall.

You are so fucking delusional. First of all, it isn't going to happen. And if Sanders (VT-Moonbat) tried to filibuster, he and the rest of the progressive/communists/socialists would get tarred with all the blame for defaulting on the debt. If you want that to happen, by all means I would recommend talking to Sanders.

I'm curious what they expect "Invoking the 14th" to do. Do they think that Obama just uttering those words will magically raise the debt ceiling?

Yes they do. They are fine with a dictator as long as it is their dictator.

I believe they're aware of that, and that's where the appeal comes in.

On reddit they view him as a European Socialist. A good number of them take his made-for-college kids soundbytes and antics at face value. Whenever anyone asks "what has Sanders actually done?" a lot of them stare at the ground, kick the dirt, and mumble "he is fighting for you, man."

A lot of progressive candidates say and do things for the votes and support, but that's it. At least the Tea Party candidates attempted to stand up for their constituency and probably kept "revenue increases" off the negotiating table in the 11th hour.

Interestingly, in an interview done on reddit, the progressive darling Weiner (before his scandal) was spouting off progressive propaganda until it came to the topic of legalization, in which his response was "don't do drugs stay in school", which was pandered by a good number of redditors. I'm still confused as to why that was his response, marijuana legalization probably would have generated a lot of support among his constituency.

Reddit, unfortunately is no longer what it was. It's basically Digg 2.0, which means that politics appears on every subreddit spammed by progressive groups and there's little to no conservative viewpoints anywhere. Even the conservative sub-reddit is basically neutered in terms of discussion.

The one funny thing though was done by a user named TheUKLibertarian. He used to post about his bad experiences with Britain's about the NHS and he would always get down-voted to oblivion. So, he made another account and lied about the NHS.
