Atkins was also a proponent for a high fat/protien diet. But he didn't tell you that putting your body in prolonged ketosis could cause kidney damage, or worse, kidney failure. I'm gonna start atkins on Monday..with a few modifications...I'm going to allow myself to eat natural fruit. And I'm going to try to eat lean meats..with the exception of a bacon egg and cheese omelet in the morning:eek: Not every morning:(.

NO sugar at all for the 14 day inception period gives me massive headaches....so a peach or plum should do the trick.

A better diet would be the anibolic diet. It allows for a glycogen refeed day every 6 days.....
The 14 induction period is rough I know but you can get through it.
At least its not a PSMF. Google that. Lol I tried it once....f that.....
