Synagogue Hit as Grad Missiles Fired at Be’er Sheva and Ashdod

Terrorists from the Gaza Strip fired at least three Grad missiles at southern Israel early Friday morning. The Iron Dome missile interceptor was successfully employed against some of the Grads, but one missile, fired later in a second round of launchings, hit a synagogue in Ashdod at 8:15 a.m.

Three were hurt moderately, but since the morning prayers had just finished, most congregants had left the bulding. Rocket hits Ashdod yeshiva; 1 seriously wounded

A rocket fired at Ashdod on Friday exploded in the courtyard of a haredi yeshiva and left six people injured. The Magen David Adom emergency services said that a 30-year-old man sustained serious wounds to his abdomen. Another person sustained moderate wounds and four were lightly injured. The victims were rushed to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot. Minor damage was caused to the building. Three Egyptians Dead as Israel Chases Terrorists Along Border

An Egyptian army officer and two security personnel have been killed along the Egyptian-Israeli border, Reuters reported. An Egyptian army official told the news agency the incident occurred as the IDF was chasing terrorists along the border of the resort city of Taba in south Sinai and Eilat.
