That Anthony Bourdain sure knows how to get people talking.
The "No Reservations" host sounds off on other food stars in TV Guide Magazine...... He has the strongest words for Paula Deen..... "The worst, most dangerous person to America is clearly Paula Deen," Bourdain says.... "She revels in unholy connections with evil corporations and she's proud of the fact that her food is f------ bad for you [...] plus, her food sucks."

He's a pompous asshole, but I kinda like watching him.:o I agreed with him when he went after Rachel Ray and criticized her for being a poor tipper when her show "$40/day" aired. I don't like RR, her voice irritates me.

I like Paula Deen, she's the grandmother everyone wants.

She's also a big Obama supporter..Should learn to keep her big mouth about her Political party of choice..People watch her show for the food, not her opinion on political matters..She had the Sasquatch the 'Wookie' Creature on her show and all she did Gush all over her and just about kiss her ass on TV.

Between Dean and Winfred Obama sure gets a lot of free love on TV....

I didn't know that. Such a turnoff to learn that someone you like on tv is a Bummer fan.

More about our hero....
Bourdain is also noted for his put-downs of celebrity chefs, such as Emeril Lagasse (though he has since warmed to Lagasse, who has appeared with Bourdain in the post-Katrina New Orleans episode of No Reservations) and Bobby Flay, and Food Network personalities such as Sandra Lee and Rachael Ray (who is the butt of many jokes on No Reservations)....

Bourdain fully expressed his feelings about certain Food Network personalities in a popular blog entry from February 2007, and appears to be irritated by both the overt commercialism of the celebrity cooking industry and its lack of culinary authenticity..... He has voiced a "serious disdain for food demigods like Alan Richman, Alice Waters, and Alain Ducasse." .....

In October 2009, he commented that Waters was "Pol Pot in a muumuu.".... Bourdain has recognized the irony of his transformation into a celebrity chef and has, to some extent, begun to qualify his insults.....

He has been consistently outspoken in his praise for chefs he admires, particularly Thomas Keller, Masa Takayama, Alton Brown, Eric Ripert, Ferran Adrią, Fergus Henderson, Marco Pierre White, and Mario Batali.

Bourdain has also spoken very highly of Julia Child, saying that she "influenced the way I grew up and my entire value system."
