Democrats understand Sarah Palin is a formidable political force who has upset the Obama victory plan. The latest Washington Post/ABC Poll shows John McCain taking a 12-point lead over Barack Obama among white women, a reversal of Mr. Obama's eight-point lead last month.

It's no surprise, then, that Democrats have airdropped a mini-army of 30 lawyers, investigators and opposition researchers into Anchorage, the state capital Juneau and Mrs. Palin's hometown of Wasilla to dig into her record and background. My sources report the first wave arrived in Anchorage less than 24 hours after John McCain selected her on August 29.

Don't these idiots ever learn? It was their mistreatment of Hillary that stampeded them to McCain/Palin in the first place and they are going to repeat the same tactics, only worse, with Palin? Though many woman are already going to vote for McCain/Palin, many more are going to do it out of spite.

These partisan pricks have found what they deem $16k in questionable travel expenses for her family. Wow, that's chump change compared to the hundreds of thousands that Pisslosi is sucking out of all taxpayers for the cost of a jet plane which includes fuel, maintenance and pilot fees.

They wouldn't be doing this unless they thought something was up there...no - they wouldn't be doing it unless they desperately wanted there to be something up there so that they can destroy her and allow their mOssiah to ascend to the presidency. It's fear that drives them.

Wrong, Whitebread. Liberals are in panic mode otherwise they would not be spending huge sums for a fishing expedition; Palin has upped McCain's approval rating by a size-able amount among women and moderate democrats. She has stolen the Magic Negro's and Joe's thunder; conservatives are energized and will win in Nov.

Gubernatorial spokeswoman Sharon Leighow said Monday that Palin's expenses are not unusual and that, under state policy, the first family could have claimed per diem expenses for each child taken on official business but has not done so.
Palin rarely sought reimbursement for meals while staying in Anchorage or Wasilla, the reports show.

Leighow noted that under state policy, all of the governor's children are entitled to per diem expenses, even her infant son. "The first family declined the per diem [for] the children," Leighow said. "The amount that they had declined was $4,461, as of August 5."

Gov. Palin has spent far less on her personal travel than her predecessor: $93,000 on airfare in 2007, compared with $463,000 spent the year before by her predecessor, Frank Murkowski. He traveled often in an executive jet that Palin called an extravagance during her campaign. She sold it after she was sworn into office.

oooohhhh, sounds bad!
