What's spooky is, not only does he sound almost like Freddy, but he looks a bit like Freddy Mercury as well.

Here's a vid of both singing together. Need to listen with headphones...Freddy will be on the right and Marc will be on the left...

That's the closest I've ever heard to the real thing. Freddie's voice is not easy to imitate, so most people don't try. Adam Lambert has a great voice and can sing most of Queen's songs well, but it's Adam Lambert singing, he's not trying to sound like Freddie.

Queen was one of the first bands I heard on the radio as a kid and liked, independently of my parents' opinions. Killer Queen came out when I was in 4th or 5th grade, Bohemian Rhapsody came out when I was in middle school. I had 45s of both songs, that I played on my plastic record player from JC Penneys.

Another One Bites The Dust always reminds me of the one year the Lions were good in the 80s, when Billy Sims played for them.

That's why I think God bent some rules and let him come back. Looks and sounds like the guy so much that my DAD (he likes Queen and has hung out with guys from my church based on their mutual love of Queen and Led Zepplin,so yeah... he's a fan) was like... the old poof came back from the dead, huh?

I really hope the members of Queen follow the example of Journey and sign Marc to do a tour with them.

For those that don't know there was a Journey tribute band in the Philipines with a lead singer that has a voice that could be a dead ringer for Steve Perry. When the members of Journey saw a video of him singing, they contacted him and signed him to tour with them and they are on the road right now.

That guy is fantastic, I sure hope Queen gives him a shot.

The one thing that would be missing would be Freddie's stage presence.

It's what seperated him from just being a great lead singer to one of the greatest showmenn frontmen in rock.

He's what Cruella and I call "parts". Some parts from some angles OK, others not so much.

What does being Christian have to do with it?

Freddy Mercury was bisexual. Marc is a singer in a Christian band. It's somewhat ironic and unlikely to the stereotypical mind. So many non-Christian singers probably would conciser themselves much better heirs to Freddy's legacy than a married, soft spoken Qubecois Christian. But that's who the living members of Queen chose.

And it's funny.

Lots of people get their foot in the door with "Christian" bands. Give Mark a hit or two and some chunky paychecks, and he'll go all Amy Grant , get his MPB fixed, a personal trainer, move to LA, divorce, marry some mid-level star's underage daughter, and have a happy life hanging out with Brad Pitt and the Princes of Malibu.
