Just announced on the radio. Mark Levin show.

I KNEW it. I KNEW she wasn't going to do it. She's too effective right where she is.

Nope, I figured that the odds were not in my favor. I will gladly pay up because it is for a good cause. It will be interestig to see who she backs, It will not be Romney.

You are a good man, La. I also agree that she'll likely not back Romney. I am guessing it will be Perry or Cain. I personally hope it's Cain. I like him more and more each passing day. We need a common sense driven American instead of a politician for a change.

comes as no surprise to me. I suspected she would not run years ago. I was hoping she'd run for the senate. she's also one helluva fund raiser

I can almost take the shrill but not all the gaffes she's making. She should think more before she opens her mouth. I really liked her at the beginning.

But if you're a fundamentalist Christian, isn't that part of the moral package?

But if you're a fundamentalist Christian, isn't that part of the moral package?

She says she's a small government Conservative which means keeping the Government out of peoples day to day lives, that includes the bedroom. I find it extremely hypocritical when Conservatives say that then turn around and want to regulate how a person has sex.

on top of that, not only would they be putting people out of work, but also jeopardizing lives. As it stands the sex industry is very regulated, not only by law but by self. If people want to make money through sex, that's their business not the governments.

We can have our beliefs and values as Christians without stepping on peoples rights. All it does is turn people away from Christianity when "fundamentalist" do this kind of crap. Jesus went to where the sinner was, not the other way around.

As did I. I liked Cain quite a bit, but thought that he wasn't competitive for the nomination, not because of any failure on his part, but just because Republicans tend to want candidates who have been through the process before. George W. Bush was the first Republican nominee since Barry Goldwater who wasn't the runner-up in the previous election cycle's primaries, and Cain had never run a major campaign before. However, he looks like he is gaining traction, and Perry seems to be faltering. If Cain can maintain his momentum and avoid any major gaffes (which will mean hunkering down and becoming a very disciplined candidate), then I think that he has a strong shot, and would make a great president. Plus, if he were nominated, Janeanne Garafolo would have a stroke. :D

Cain is a smart man. I believe if elected he'll choose good people who have good experience in the necessary areas where Cain is weak.

The idiot in office now picked people who don't know any more about the foreign affairs, the economy, etc than obama does. And it showed and continues to show.

He is a smart businessman, but I wonder if he has the political expertise to deal with congress-not just the democrats, but the entire political establishment.

But I also recognize that a good part of Cain's appeal is that he is not a professional politician, so my critique is not a slam on him.

I happened to be in the car when Levin was on and heard the announcement and most of the interview. Personally, while I think she would be an excellent president, I'm glad she made an official announcement that she isn't running. Sadly, the mindnumbing hatred the left and the media have for her makes her unelectable, and this announcement means her fans and supporters can move on to support someone who is running.
