Yeah the first two look excellent.

I got the multiplayer beta for bf3.

I haven't played any elder scrolls games though maybe I should look into it.

ES 3 and 4 were amazing. The sheer amount of explorable content in 3 was dumbfounding. 4 wasn't quite as expansive, but the graphics where a pure thing of beauty, that are still hard to rival today.

I'm hoping 5 can live up to both of them, and so far it's looking good.

I really enjoy open-world games where player actions and choices are not restricted and impact the world/character/story. This looks good.

Oblivion was freaking awesome, it was the first ES game I played...I'll probably get Skyrim at some point and play through.

Just to give you idea of the scale of the games.

Oblivion (ES4) had 16 square miles of explorable land. I don't think the size of Morrowind (ES3) was ever officially stated, but I believe it was about twice as much as Oblivion.

ES3 took place on Vardenfell, that big island in the NE. ES4 took place in Cyrodiil. ES5, as the name says, is in Skyrim. It's comparable in size to Cyrodiil, so I'd imagine it'll have just as much content as 4 did.

I had to decide between MW3, BF3, and Skyrim this weekend. I plan to buy all three but it's just a matter of when.

I went with Skyrim. I've never played an Elder Scrolls game or any RPG really in like 8 years. So far it is blowing me away, outstanding game, incredible scale, beautiful graphics, and just so much depth and stuff to do. I love it.

I normally don't play with my xbox too often, well that was until I opened the game. I'm having a hard time putting the controller down, I haven't even touched my books, and my girlfriend is loves it to so I have to share it with her. It's almost as fun to watch.

I can't recommend this game enough.

I'm playing as a dark elf and my girlfriend is an imperial. I use magic, one-handed weapons, and light armor. I like reading through all the books and learning about the world that skyrim is in, especially since I've never played any elder scrolls game, it's all new to me.

My expectations were pretty blank, so everything just seems incredible and new.

Since I started playing the series my first character has always been a Redguard Warrior. I hit lvl 30 last night, and also learned how to craft dragon armor. I think I'm maybe halfway through the story, and have completed the Companions and Mage Guild stories.

I've spent about 45 hours of play time on the game so far, and I'm still uncovering new things to keep me going.

Battlefied 3 was dissapointing. I rented the game, and the campaign was lackluster. Because I have the Xbox I couldn't play multiplayer without actually purchasing the game, so didn't get to explore that. That wasn't enough to make me want to buy the game though.

MW3 was good. Really enjoyed the campaign, and the multiplayer isn't bad but I've got some beefs with it. It's way to easy for things to get unbalanced in matches and tends to take a lot of the fun out of it. I'm sure in another month or so they'll get some of the balance issues fixed and I'll enjoy playing it more. For now I'm geeking hard on Skyrim so don't mind waiting.

I too was dissapointed with BF3's campaign and no bots for the multi-player maps as I don't play online at all. MW3 has the special ops and survival mode which are a blast to play.

Haven't picked up Skyrim yet but I've heard good things.
