I always thought he was a bit of a lib but Rest In Peace none the less.

As far back as I can remember me and my late grandfather used to watch 60 minutes together.

That was when you were lucky to have 3 channels & had to get up to change them! :D

He is one of the few Libs that actually had something to say and wasn't afraid to say it. Got him in trouble during Vietnam war. I respect anyone of any political persuasion who is trying to find the truth.

You should be aware that Rooney was a WWII hero as much as any reporter can be a hero. He was in the thick of it and flew B-17 missions with the toughest of the reporters...He was a great American.
