Post some lines from a song verse. Other posters attempt to finish the verse. Successful verse starts another.

When I was younger
So much younger than today

Note you need to finish the verse, not just the next line.

I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Next up:

I never said you had to offer me a second chance
I never said I was a victim of circumstance
I still belong.........

I still belong, don't get me wrong
You can speak your mind
But not on my time

Next:

The problem is all inside your head she said to me
The answer is easy if you take it logically

Trying to amend my carnivorous habits
Made it nearly 70 days
Losing weight without speed, eating sunflower seeds
Drinking lots of carrot juice and soaking up the rays

But at night I'd had these wonderful dreams; Some kind of sensuous treat; Not zucchini, fettucini or Bulgar wheat; But a big warm bun and a huge hunk of meat
Cheeseburger in paradise
Lov it....

This is the life of illusion
Wrapped up in trouble laced with confusion
What are we doing here?

We take the pressure and we throw away
Conventionality belongs to yesterday

There is a chance that we can make it so far
We start believin' now that we can be who we are - grease is the word

No hurry on this South American dictator.
I'll assassinate him later....
that's when he walked right in my laser sights,
and my silencer was on,
and my silencer was on,
and another target's gone!

I just heard this song watching a Weird Al concert.

Now I'm going to test everyone's meddle:

Is that Rockshow or Rockstar... by Wings? I'm a big McCartney fan....but before I look it up I wanted to see if my memory is still there?

Rockshow which is proceeded by Venus and Mars. Great album with a very ironic song on it. Then Wings guitarist Jimmy McCulloch has a song called Medicine Jar which is about the wrongs of drug abuse. Well, he died at the age of 26 from a heroine overdose.
