I don't know if I was supposed to PM this or not. DS just called me and told me to let you know something about a new book coming out in August. OMG, I don't even remember the authors. Famous guys that you read. Preston and Child maybe? I know the names but I don't read the books. Anyway, my job is done.

I'd also put research librarian on Shannon's list of "No, not so much" career choices.

Research is actually my strongpoint.:p I just didn't care enough about whatever DS was talking about to pay attention.

Yes...here it is, drum roll please!

Revenant by Preston & Child, due out August 26th, is apparently about a zombi/voodoo cult in NYC (where else?) and hails the return of Smithback and his wife, Nora Kelly, as well as Pendergast and D'Agosta, who try to solve the mystery (something happens at the very beginning of the novel apparently that I don't want to reveal here...I know this because I read the publishers review of it at work).

Hey Ginger, I don't know if you've checked out the P&C website lately but they posted a message to fans saying that the "rumors" of Agent Pendergast's demise in the upcoming novel is not true, and that the new book will be titled CEMETERY DANCE (formerly called Revenant).
