Malta denies claims by former US Congresswoman

The Government of Malta this evening categorically denied claims being made by former US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney that "12,000 U.S. troops (are) stationed in Malta and they are about to make their descent into Libya".

Ms McKinney made these statements on her public blog.

I'll second that denial. I haven't briefed a single mission to Malta in months. I don't think I've ever briefed a mission to Malta. And there is no way we'd have moved 12,000 troops and all their supplies in without my AOC handling any of the work load.

It's not that big a place, and it isn't in the middle of nowhere like Diego Garcia. If more than a platoon of our troops had been put there, it'd have been splashed all over the European press in a nanosecond.

Cynthia also needs to check with her fellow Democrat Hank Johnson, It would capsize with that many men on it!

Someone needs to call the Psych ward at Grady Hospital and tell them one of their patients in on the ward has been abusing their phone/internet privileges again.

I wonder if all those who were stupid enough to vote for retards like McKinney, Johnson, Obama and many other DimRats, are embarrassed by their vote?
