White House Locked Down After Occupy Congress Protesters Throw Smoke Bomb Over Fence…

WASHINGTON (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/01/17/occupy-protesters-suspected-throwing-smoke-bomb-over-white-house-fence/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+foxnews%2Fpolitics+%28Interna l+-+Politics+-+Text%29) – The Secret Service was responding Tuesday night to an escalating protest that may have involved a smoke bomb being thrown over the White House fence.

An estimated 1,000 protesters have gathered. No arrests have been made, but authorities are on alert.

The tense scene outside the White House follows an earlier protest on the West Lawn of the Capitol, in which several hundred protesters affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street movement decried the influence of corporate money in politics and voice myriad other grievances.

Organizers had touted the rally, known as Occupy Congress, as the largest national gathering of Occupy protesters to date and secured a permit that would have allowed up to 10,000 people to participate. By mid-afternoon, the protest appeared to have fallen far short of those goals.

Still, participants said they were optimistic about the strength of the Occupy movement, which began in September when protesters pitched tents in a lower Manhattan park. The movement has since spread to dozens of cities, including Washington. While many cities have moved to evict the protesters, the National Park Service has allowed encampments to remain in two public squares near the White House.

And throwing a smoke bomb did what?

Create jobs? No.

Help someone pay off their home? No.

Get a homeless family some place to live? No.

The jerkazoids who make up OWS are bunch of brain-dead trust fund babies with time on their hands and not a penny's worth common sense amoung the whole sorry lot of them.

If you see a guy on the side of the road picking up cans ( and I've that guy), then he is doing more for society in an hour's time then all the dumb assholes in OWS have done in their wasted life times.

I think it's an act of terrorism, to throw a smoke bomb over the White House fence. Not that it succeeded in striking terror in anyone's heart, but the intent was there.

I dunno, start tossing bottle rockets over the fence and see how fast you would get an audience with the SS.
Food and clothes wouldn't be an issue for a couple of years at least, that is unless you are OWS .

Doesn't she piss you off?

I would be surprised if she did. Linda appears to be a centered person unencumbered by the bile that broken people live with.

I'd be happier if they weren't in the White House, but I am trying to think if any First Lady has ever "pissed me off" - and I can't imagine feeling that strongly about ANY of them.

Maybe Mary Todd Lincoln. She was emotionally unbalanced to say the least, and an overspender.

I was half-kidding, but you didn't throw them at the White House when you were a kid.

Well you are wrong again, she gets really worked up with people who misspell so I guess she is pretty broken.

Her birthday dinner;

For dinner, the President and Mrs. Obama both enjoyed American Wagyu Top Cap, which is served in a 10 0z portion ($81). Executive Chef Victor Albisu personally did the cooking, which earned him a hug and warm thanks from the First Lady at the end of the evening. Side dishes were family style for the table, and included French Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Caramelized Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, Creamed Spinach, and Hen of the Woods Mushrooms. Appetizers ordered for the table to share were also steak: The American Wagyu Skirt Steak (10 0z, $55) and 28-Day Dry Aged New York Strip (16 0z, $46). House-made sauces are served with the steaks, and include Horseradish, Peppercorn, 3 Mustards, and “Steak” sauce.

And a pic or their menu

Hillary Clinton comes to mind.
Setting their man aside, I'd take Sasquach over Hillary.
