"Global warming alarmists won't give up their campaign to spread fear and backward thinking (http://http://news.investors.com/Article/599442/201201301844/climate-change-warming-over-little-ice-age.htm)until an ice bridge stretches from New York to Paris. Science, though, says they should."

But "it is also possible," continues the Mail, "that the new solar energy slump could be as deep as the 'Maunder minimum,'" which occurred "between 1645 and 1715 in the coldest part of the 'Little Ice Age' when, as well as the Thames frost fairs, the canals of Holland froze solid."

It was 73 and windy here today in my hood.

20 degrees, 6-8 inches on the ground, still snowing. The 2 hour school delay got changed to cancelled 30 minutes into the delay due to forecast of 6-8 more inches. :eek:

Tornado warnings in East Texas this afternoon where my niece lives.
Here in West Texas was 68 today and so nice outside, perfect spring like weather.

I saw the videos on the news of the snow in Colorado. Looks nice!
Yesterday when the wind was blowing and my sky was full of sand,
I would have traded with you. But today, think I'll keep my weather.

It's not going to be so pleasant when summer comes. Last summer was a few degrees from hell on earth. I've heard people saying this next one will be even worse.

It's a bad sign when the only time we have nice spring-like weather is in the middle of winter.

Is it going to be worse than the June '82 In Wichita Falls Tx when the daily high exceeded 110 F for 28 days out of 30?

I believe for most days over 100 in a row;
most days without rain, and most acres burned.
I sure hope we don't have it that bad his summer.

That was 110 then not 100 - is there a web site with that info?

Us down here in SE Texas set a few but I'll not go into the science that says eveeyone will continue to set both high and low records for at leat another 10K years.
