I stopped into Williams-Sonoma in on Friday and got suckered into buying a can of Dutch Baby pancake mix.

It was easy to make and cooks up pretty spectacular looking.

I finished mine with Apples on one and Blueberries on the other and then dressed 'em in whipped cream.

Has anyone ever made these from scratch?

Incidentally my family tore into them like raptors at a vegan concert.

I lived in Germany for years and never heard of this. I usually saw fruit on a kind of flat sponge cake.

It looks like a funnel cake without the funnel.:)
