Muslim leader threatens to kill Paul McCartney over Israel gig

An Islamic militant leader warned that former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney could be the target of suicide bombers unless he cancels his first concert in Israel, reported the British Sunday Express.

The celebrated rock star plans to arrive in Israel as part of a world tour, and give a single concert at Tel Aviv's Park Hayarkon on September 25.

Omar Bakri, an Islamic preacher, said McCartney's decision to perform as part of Israel's 60th anniversary celebrations made him the enemy of Muslims worldwide.

"If he values his life, Mr. McCartney must not come to Israel," Bakri was quoted as saying. "He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him."

another piece of propaganda trying to get us to hate Muslims...Although, if true, he could try just burning/melting Sir Paul's records like they did down south after John Lennon said he was more popular than Jesus...

Because it is such a stretch that radical Muslims would ever act like terrorists. :rolleyes:

How connected is Bakri to the sorts of groups that might actually carry out such an attack?Does it fucking matter?

Shouldn't you be more concerned that these groups exist instead of wondering whether this clown is connected to them?

Situations like this tend to leave ultra- libs like the DUmmies with real dilemmas over whom to support. Do they support the Muslims, whom most DUmmies believe are all lovely, misunderstood people bullied by the mean old US, or do they support Paul McCartney, lefty moonbat celeb extraordinaire? Interestingly enough, the Muslim leaders have something in common with McCartney: Complete bigotry and intolerance towards those who've made different lifetyle choices (Last year, Paul McCartney fired two of his roadies for eating hamurgers, since he insists everyone who works for him must be a vegetarian).
There have been occasions similar to this when, for instance, dealing with radical Muslim clerics calling forthe beheading of homosexuals or whatever. On such occasions, moonbats are probably unsure of whom to support.
It just goes to show how ridiculous their support of radcal Muslims really is, since if Muslims ever took over the U.S., the libs (Especially those who are gay, transexual, etc.) would be among the first to end up with their heads on the block.
