This was sent by a friend, an exerpt from Fox and Friends. This is going to be a tough election and even tougher life for everyone if 80% of the young voters believe this.

It's worth the time to watch this. it's very sobering.

When people wonder why things are the way they are I will refer to this. This is why Obama is president and America is in deep shit!

Thanks SLW ...

Missed this, this morning.

Yes, America is truly in deep ... uh ... doo doo! :lemo:

In their essays they wrote down such things as they feel "entitled" to ... free health care ... jobs ... money for downpayments on housing ... money for retirement ... etc. oh yes, and taxing the rich more, I think they said.

We truly are screwed! It infuriates, and saddens me, to no end.

This is the result of years and years of "public" schooling, on the youth of today ... long before they even get into university. They are being indoctrinated to believe that the world owes them a living. Not the other way around, as we were taught.

Hopefully, the young folks will not come out to vote for Obama the way they did in 2008.

Don't think it has been hyped up as such a "sexy" with it thing to do this time. Remember the fool "Obama Girl" stuff? :vomit:

Gotta run, have a feeling am raising my blood pressure just typing this! :lemo:

But, but, but,,,,,,,That's just mean! I want My Pony and I want it now!!!! I hate Conservatives who preach personal responsibility and hard work. How dare they push those old fashioned ideas on my 21st century, new and cutting edge philosophy. They should shut up and go back to work so they can continue to support me.

You might as well blame parents. Their parents have provided everything for them up to now, so they have no experience of working to really support themselves. They have no real idea of what it takes to be self supporting.

Holy sheiye you channeling daughter up until she got her first apartment and Job. Now she won't accept money from her old man except for short term loan.
My son never expected nothing from anyone. Works fulltime & goes to school full time studying to be a psychologist. Naturally he is broke all the time but his girl friend has a lot of nice clothes and trinkets. :biggrin-new:

The voting age should never have been lowered to 18. This is why. They are not old enough.

I agree. If a "kid" can get health insurance under his parents until they are 25, then they not have any adult priveleges until they reach 25. You can't have it both ways.

honestly, most 18-25 year old's don't even vote, I think it's only about 3% who actually do, (I was the exception, I've voted since I could, at 19). It isn't till closer to 30 that most will start paying attention to politics let alone vote.

No, after 18, I blame them. Placing blame anywhere else but on the proper target is half the problem in our culture. Lazy adults are responsible for their own lot in life.

Yeah. You and I have both been in the service and seen what 18 year old people can actually do if they leave their adolescence behind them.

Don't forget; the average age of Pony Express riders was 20. Buffalo Bill rode for them at the age of 14. People can mature if they want to.

Remember this quote. I think it fits in regards federal govt and education.

"When an opponent declares, "I will not come over to your side," I calmly say, "Your child belongs to us already... What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community."

It's coming true here.
