ORLANDO, Fla. (http://www.wesh.com/news/30653147/detail.html#ixzz1opNUbw22) — Former U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson crashed into a Lynx bus in downtown Orlando about noon Saturday.


Grayson was traveling to an upscale fundraising event for his Congressional campaign.


Authorities with the Orlando Police Department said the crash happened at Orange Avenue and Livingston Street.


Investigators said Grayson was driving a Mercedes, when he ran a red light and hit the bus.


Police and a campaign representative said Grayson and his passenger were not hurt. Two people aboard the bus claimed they suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.


Authorities said the crash is under investigation, and it’s not known yet what type of citation or charges may be filed. . . . Featured guests included noted environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and actress Cheryl Hines. The suggested contribution for those attending was $1,000.

A change of heart by the liberal Democrat with a national reputation for caustic remarks? No chance.


“Dear Lord, thank God I’m a Democrat. And thank God I did not have to vote in the Republican presidential primary,” he told Pinellas County Democrats on Saturday night.


“They’re all a bunch of losers,” he said of the GOP hopefuls.

He has the guts to call the Republicans losers? He's the biggest loser of them all---and not talking about that weight loss Biggest Loser show on NBC.

Allen is known widely in Florida as a POS, and it's so richly deserved.

Looks like that Mercedes sustained just a tad of damage, but guess that's what happens when you run a red light. So much for the law abiding, lying ex-rep.

Not surprisingly, it is the same types that continue to give us Weiners and Johnsons, O Blah Blahs and Botox Nancy's, McKinneys and Franks. These Dims have a lot of explaining to do.

You know the thing I find more interesting. When I had my two accidents. One I T-boned another car in a major intersection, the other when I rolled my car after hitting a patch of black ice. All I got was a single police car response. I didn't get a fire truck, or rescue truck at all. Hell I even had to call a tow truck my self for both.

Wonder how much this is going to cost the taxpayers there.

as to taxpayer cost, grayson's insurance (if he's at fault) should cover the expense

In Grayson's defense, he wasn't drunk, and nobody died. Among Democrats, this is a distinct improvement over Ted Kennedy.
