Republicans have a clear agenda for women: Defund Planned Parenthood, deny women access to health care and birth control, and even prohibit women the right to participate in the debate about women’s health care.

Grassroots Democrats around the country have united against the Republican War on Women to launch a Women’s Health Accountability Fund. Our goal is to expose the truth about Republicans’ war on women with an aggressive rapid response operation including ads, on-the-ground organizing and more.

It’s important that national Republicans and their allies like Rush Limbaugh are held accountable for their vile, outrageous, and unceasing attacks on women’s health care. We are only $19,433 away from our Women’s Health Accountability fund goal before tonight’s midnight deadline.

Please chip in $3 by midnight tonight so Democrats can launch an urgent rapid response campaign against the Republican War on Women.

Republicans in Congress thought they could silence us by refusing to let Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke testify on their all-male panel on birth control coverage.

They were wrong.

There are only hours to go before Democrats launch an urgent grassroots campaign to hold Republicans accountable for their War on Women.
Can you pitch in right now?

Thanks,
Rep. Diana DeGette
Co-Chair of the House Pro-Choice Caucus

P.S. While Republicans double down on their radical agenda that would restrict women’s access to reproductive health care and the right to have a seat at the table to discuss women’s health care, we are making sure American people know the truth. Will you join us?

Apparently, the only healthcare that women need, according to Democrats, is abortion, since that's all that Planned Parenthood provides.

Actually, that's not accurate. Planned Parenthood does provide birth control, breast cancer screenings, pap smears, etc. All that may in fact be a cover for their real purpose: providing abortions. But PP does do other things.

That's one way the certain GOP politicians get in trouble; they say PP only does abortions and then the press can talk about how the conservatives are "lying" or misleading people. The better avenue for conservatives is to say that the GOP is concerned about women's health, and that if PP is willing to give up its abortion services, public health dollars can be spent on the rest. Otherwise, no public dollars. If abortions are only 3% of their services, like they claim, then they should be willing to give them up to insure that the other 97% of their services are covered. Put the onus on Planned Parenthood. If they really care about women's health, they should be willing to give up providing abortions to insure that women get the rest of their health services.

So, let's see. The democrats can't run on the economy; they can't run on jobs; they can't run on any sort of positive record, so divert attention from the serious issues.

Maybe they're in more trouble than I thought.

Sort of reminds me of another organization called PETA. Supposedly an animal rights group. Funny thing is though, they usually destroy about 85-95% of the animals they take control of within about 24 hours (http://www.petakillsanimals.com/) after receiving them. Despite its $37.4 million budget, PETA employees appear to make little effort to find homes for the animals they kill every year rather deferring instead to funding its media and advertising antics. And to eco terrorist organizations (http://www.consumerfreedom.com/2004/01/2339-peta-and-terrorism-the-real-deal/) such as the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF).

I think I'll just stick with this other group, ever heard of them? People Eating Tasty Animals (PETA). Hey look, they got the PETA acronym too.

No they don't, they provide referrals to doctors who will provide breast cancer screenings. Thats why Susan G. Komen wanted to break ties with them. As they don't provide the services.

What it comes down to is that the Dems don't want the focus to be on the jobs and the economy so they are creating this smoke screen in order to motivate women to vote Democrat and given that most women vote with their hearts and not brains, it will work for them. Hate to break that to you ladies but it's true.

I thought Komen was giving them money for those screening services. So let me get this straight: PP doesn't do anything healthwise--cancer screenings, gyno exams, etc.--but they just hand out birth control and do abortions?

If that's true, then PP has the best PR machine out there.

RIGHT ON TARGET!

They need women to come out because the election is going to be a squeaker. In 2008, women were trashed, especially Hillary supporters. Suddenly, in 2012, Obam-ination needs the women's vote, so women are now sooooo important.

You know, I've always wondered what the purpose of PETA is anyway. They seem to have two goals that I can see: throwing red paint on women and getting animals to vote. WTF?

They believe the concept of domesticated animals is morally offensive and unethical and tantamount to slavery, and the domesticated animals themselves (cats and dogs) are unnatural abominations which must be destroyed.
