(CNN) It appears Barack Obama's teleprompter is hitting the campaign trail.

The Democratic presidential nominee has never tried to hide the fact he delivers speeches off the device, though normally he doesn't use one at standard campaign rallies and town hall events.

But the Illinois senator used a teleprompter at both his Colorado events Monday making for a particularly peculiar scene in Pueblo, where the prompter was set up in the middle of what is normally a rodeo ring.

:D

Hope he knows he can't use that at the debates!

That depends on how fast his staff can type. :D

When is Obama going to realize that he can cover twice as much ground if he and his teleprompter take separate trips?

Obama can go to, say, New York, and stand on stage and wave, while the teleprompter can go to California and show the speech on a big movie screen. Twice the audience!

LOL!

The only flaw in that is if you read his speeches instead of listening to them, the absence of his delivery makes you focus on the content. He'd lose more votes that way.

Hm. Good point.

Well, at least he could save money on teleprompters if he just stood up and waved for an hour at a campaign event.

Or, they could just have his speechwriter stick his hand up his back and do a ventriloquist act. Come to think of it, that may be how they get through the debates... :D
