My personal fave version of The Eleven is the one found on Fillmore West 1969. The Dead themselves hadn't hit their peak yet, but that version is a great peek at things to come.:smile-new:

I, unfortuneately did not. I was a bit too young to catch em before Jerry passed on. However, I'm finally getting my first somewhat live Dead experience when I see Furthur here in a couple of months. I realize it's the closest I'm gonna get to a Dead show, and I'll take it

I saw Jerry Garcia at Constitution Hall, and I took a little nap. It was a great nap. I like napping in a venue like that; soothing music and surrounded by friends.
