I couldn't put Noam Chomsky anywhere but in Mindless Moonbats, although he, like a broken clock, is right once in awhile.

Noam Chomsky: Sarah Palin Right About ‘Hopey Changey’ Stuff

Noted leftist Noam Chomsky and Sarah Palin agree . . . about Barack Obama’s failures. In an interview with Democracy Now, the MIT professor offered his opinion that underneath the president’s soaring rhetoric is very little substance.

And this surprises who? (rhetorical question of course)

A broken clock gets it right sometimes. :biggrin-new:

Who are you and what did you do with Norm?

I keep telling you guys, the real left is entirely disillusioned with Oblahblah. They knew he was an empty suit, and some of them held their collective noses and voted for him anyway. Now, they feel bad.

Those of us who knew four years ago that Oblahblah had no substance and that the rhetoric was just that--rhetoric--got trashed by the Obots and run off of DU. Welcome to the party, if belatedly, Dr. Chomsky.

It's not simply that the left is disillusioned with him, it's that they want to separate themselves from him. Jimmy Carter was a disaster for the left, and they want to make sure that they don't have him hanging over them for the next few elections, so they are trying various memes to see if they can distance themselves. Notice how Wei keeps calling Obama a centrist, or conservative Democrat? That's part of the meme.

Lol @ someone who is so far to the left that Obama is 'centrist'. Either that or Wei is just caught up in the rhetoric.
