The average donation works out to just over $64.00! But only 982?

$10.00 anyone?

I guess that tells us how many active accounts there are on DU.

There are certainly a lot of people that post pretty regularly over there. What amazes me is that there are a quite a few that have absolulty massive posting numbers. It's not unusual to see someone with more than 20,000 posted messages.

Who the hell has the time to post that many messages? Don't bother to tell me, I know, the answer is: "A DUmmy!"

I'm sure it would be more if they'd take IOU's.

The problem is, they can't write a check using other people's money.

The way they want to solve all of society's ills is to take money from the 'wealthy' and redistribute it....to themselves.

Using their own money is too painful.

2. I still want to know is that number includes only active registrations,

or also those who have been tombstoned.

Fat chance. Der $kimmerfuhrer will release that information over his dead body. Heck, even then, he's probably got an electronic pulse monitor that will automatically fry the information if he dies.

3. Even if active registrations were half that it's still disappointing

Reality seeps in.
