Paul Krugman: 'It's Terribly Unfair Obama's Being Judged on the Failure of the Economy'

Readers are strongly advised to remove food, fluids, and flammables from proximity to their computers prior to reading any further. You've been warned!

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman said on ABC's This Week Sunday, "It's terribly unfair that [President Obama is] being judged on the failure of the economy to respond to policies that had been largely dictated by a hostile Congress" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Krugman's been doing the talk-show rounds in the UK and Europe, advocating more spending as a way out of the euro crisis. Only the "elites" still think the euro will survive.

I think that Obama should be judged by more than his economic failures. There are also his foreign policy failures, his failure to manage the federal budget, his failure to faithfully execute the laws of the United States.... There are just so many failures to judge him on.

Paul Krugman: 'It's Terribly Unfair Obama's Being Judged on the Failure of the Economy'
Wow, where to start?
1st: according to O Blah Blah the economy is getting better. How is that a failure? Somebody is lying!!!
2nd: On what criteria would you have us judge O Blah Blah? His golf game? Bowling scores? Ratio of lies he's told verses the number of speeches he gave?

Just what would be a fair yardstick to judge this president? Come on liber-weinees, answer for Krugman,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.:friendly_wink:
