1,000 phony signatures on anti marriage equality initiative petitions
Per the Seattle Times and the Tacoma News Tribune, the opponents of the Marriage Equality law signed by Washington Gov. Gregoire in February have at least 1,000 fraudulent signatures on them. So far the fraudulent signatures have been linked to one paid signature gatherer. The state says it will begin a random check on the validity of signatures by checking a 3% sample. I say we call on the state to check ALL of them.

So... Phony signatures on a petition against gay marriage = bad. Phony signatures on a petition to get Gov. Walker recalled = a-ok.

When it comes to these idiots, legit signatures on a petition that goes against their world view is never good. However, fake signatures that pushes their agenda is totally legal because it, well, pushes their agenda.
