Attorney General Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he has ďstuck by my gunsĒ during his time in office. ďIíve been criticized a lot for the positions that Iíve taken. Iíve lost some. Iíve won more than Iíve lost. Iím proud of the work that Iíve done. More important, Iím proud of the 116,000 people in this United States Department of Justice. This has been the highlight of my career to have been the attorney general of the United States, to work with you all and to serve this president. What my future holds, frankly, Iím just not sure.Ē
What an unfortunate turn of phrase.

I'm glad he stuck by his guns. It's too bad he didn't stick a little closer to the 2000 or so guns that went to Mexico.

I noticed that during the questioning over the past days, Holder mentioned Operation Linebacker, the Bush operation that sent 300 to 400 guns to Mexico. Issa or someone ought to have pointed out that Linebacker was done in conjunction with the Mexican Govt. Mexico knew about it and they worked with the US during Linebacker. So far as I know, no guns from Linebacker were lost, or at least none have turned up at any crime scenes.

Fast and Furious dumped 5 to 6 times as many weapons into Mexico. Mexico was never advised about Fast and Furious and never condoned the operation. The number of guns and Mexican approval of the operations are major differences. Fast and Furious guns killed a Border Patrolmen, a gun or two was found at another crime scene here in the USA, and has resulted in several hundred victims in Mexico.

There is a tiny difference in the handling of the two operations. One was done professionally, with assistance from the nation involved; the other.... well .... the body count is still climbing and most of the guns are still unaccounted for.

What an unfortunate turn of phrase.

"Unfortunate?" Hardly. It was deliberate and calculated. He's rubbing it in our faces that he isn't behind bars yet.

Too bad he didn't stand by the ones he sent to Mexico. By now he could have been another headless corpse found lying, um, laying, in a ditch near Tijuana.

Im sorry but this comment was uncalled for. I don't wish for ANY of our officials to end up dead. Unemployed, sure. Behind bars, couldn't agree more but wishing them dead is over the line.

Well then again they probably wouldn't touch one of their most reliable arms suppliers.

And as long as Obama is president, he never will be. Even if he went to jail today, if Obama loses the election, he'll be the first one pardoned.

I don't "wish" for them to be dead either, but there are some of them that if they ended up that way would not interrupt my sleep too much. Call it poetic justice.

Fuck you pig. I remember people like Brian Terry in my prayers daily. I also. like a Christian is suppose to, pray for all my elected officials and the servants they put into office. I don't fantasize about any elected or appointed official dying.

You go reread it again because you are the self righteous fuck.

I don't see in my Bible where I should pray for criminals to get away with illegal activity. Elected or not.

Did you pray for Rod Blagojevich also????????

Isn't it something (hypocritical) how anytime Bush took a breath, he was criticized for doing it "unilaterally". Obama has actually done a LOT of stuff unilaterally (Fast/Furious, the Osama operation just to name 2) but you hear no criticism from the left.

Here's another Holder related story:

Link (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/holder-refuses-provide-testimony-kagan-s-involvement-obamacare)

Holder Refuses to Provide Testimony on Kaganís Involvement in Obamacare

(CNSNews.com) - Attorney General Eric Holder has refused to provide written testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee in response to "questions for the record" submitted to him by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R.-Ala.) that focus on Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan's involvement in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act--AKA Obamacare--while she was President Barack Obama's solicitor general.
More at link. It's a good story. (in a 'democrats suck' kind of way)

I pray for ALL who need it. That doesn't mean I don't want to see justice meted out to the appropriate people and NOWHERE have I even said such a thing. Do I think Eric Holder is a corrupt, race baiting criminal who not only knew about "Fast and Furious" but I'm 100% sure he personally authorized it after Obumble gave his personal ok.

HOWEVER, that doesn't stop me praying for him to change his heart and realize what he has done and resign. The whole point of my post was I find it rather disgusting that someone on our side would fantasize about seeing Holder end up headless in a Tijuana ditch. FOR FUCKS SAKE PEOPLE, we make fun of those idiots over at DU for doing stupid shit like that. There is a current thread in the Best/Worst forum as we speak where DUmmies are enjoying seeing George Bush's head on a pike in a fucking TV show.

Ok asshole, I'll cut through the shit for you.
I spent a lot of time working in Saltillo and Monterrey Mexico in the late 90's and early 2000's installing equipment for various companies like GM, Chrysler, Whirlpool, etc. During those years I met a lot of friendly people and have returned to both cities off work to attend weddings, graduations and funerals for people that I met that I consider friends and some like family.
Some of those people that I met or know may have been among the 50 found dismembered near Monterrey and possibly killed by guns that Holder knew were going down there.
If that is the case, if even one of those people was killed by a "Fast and Furious" gun, then yes, I wish it was Holder in that ditch instead of someone that I knew, worked in a plant with or had dinner with them or their family.

Pray for that decrepit piece of shit all you like. Pray for him in Hell for all I care. His lying, conniving, self absorbed ass is not worth the life of 1 innocent person killed with his knowledge and approval of a murderous endeavor.

Of course, they are only dirty Mexicans, so why should you give a flying fuck.
