I was trying to bring over my Avatar from PhotoBucket and got this error:
Warning: tempnam() [function.tempnam]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File() is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/conserv/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in [path]/includes/class_upload.php on line 270

You got a step or two further than I did.I can't clear the Don't use an Avatar button

As I mentioned in another thread, I can't even get into my "User CP" without it crashing.
I'll wait to update those settings until things are more stable around here.

Same for me. I can get to the USER CP without crashing by going through the QUICK LINKS pulldown.

Same here! I can load the image as a profile image, but not as an avatar.

I'm still getting the error with writing to a temp file when I try
and upload a avatar from Photobucket. It's formatted nicer but still doesn't work for me.
