Rodney King, whose beating by Los Angeles police in 1991 was caught on camera and sparked riots after the acquittal of the four officers involved, was found dead in his swimming pool Sunday, authorities and his fiancee said. He was 47. Police in Rialto, California, received a 911 call from King's fiancee, Cynthia Kelly, about 5:25 a.m., said Capt. Randy DeAnda. Responding officers found King at the bottom of the pool, removed him and attempted to revive him. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital, DeAnda said.
There were no preliminary signs of foul play, he said, and no obvious injuries on King's body. Police are conducting a drowning investigation, DeAnda said, and King's body would be autopsied. ...

Remembering Rodney King makes me remember Reginald Denny. Remember him? He was the white truck driver pulled from his truck and nearly killed by a gang of thugs who were determined to bring "justice to...whatever"

Who were the thugs?

Well, there was "Football" Williams, another ex-high school football star. He got 10 years; got most of it suspended, but then in 2003 was sentenced to life for murder. He'll be eligible for parole in 2050.

Then there was "Twan" Miller. He was shot and killed in 2004.

Kiki Watson. He served his time, apologized to Denny and still lives in LA operating a limousine service.

Gary Williams: A crack head. Last seen as a beggar still in the area.

And Reginald? He's a boat mechanic in AZ. Doing well.

It's all interesting to me, how people ruin their lives over such nonsense. The police got carried away and should not have continued beating King the way they did.
King remained a ne'r-do-well, scofflaw, and burden for all of his life. Arrested, shot, and involved in everything but hard work and making money, Rodney King is model of how life should not be lived.

The DUmmies are using this to inflate their meme that the racist faction of the US (republicans, 1%,etc) is happy over this. Personally I don't care all that much, he had a life to live and made his own choices. It's not because he was black that he was an idiot.

Rodney King and O-Bomb-A had a few things in common, one of them was a taste for cocaine.
