Obama to Court: Drop Dead

No kidding.

Within hours of the Supreme Court's decision on the Arizona immigration law -- leaving in place a core section of the law that allows local law enforcement to continue checking the immigration status of anyone suspected of being an illegal -- the Obama administration has just said it will no longer enforce the law.

Fox News reports that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security -- that would be Secretary Janet "Big Sis" Napolitano -- has just announced that the Obamites are "suspending a key program that allowed state and local law enforcement to enforce federal immigration law."

In other words, they didn't like the Court's ruling so -- they simply will not enforce the law because they don't like it.

Why? The unspoken reason?

Progressives need to play the politics of race or they are out of business. So Secretary Janet Napolitano has just played the race card -- effectively telling the Court to drop dead.

Who cares about the Constitution when the Latino vote is so critical?

Shades of George Wallace.

Limbaugh said Obama’s legal cherry-picking would make a dictator blush.

“Obama wants the enforcement of every federal law to hinge upon whether he agrees with it,” he continued. “And if he doesn’t agree with the federal law, he’s not going to enforce it — like the Defense of Marriage Act. It’s the law of the land. The regime announced within the past year they were no longer were going to enforce it. It’s a dictator’s wet dream to do what Obama is doing. If he doesn’t agree with a law, voila — it’s no longer enforced. It may as well not even exist. That’s who he is, folks.”

So this effects not only Arizona but ALL states. And this is well beyond the issue of immigration. This is disintegrating of the rule of law. Wheres congress? We have democrats in the majority running the senate and weasels running the house.

Exactly how can they get away with this end-run around the Supreme Court? If a Republican president were to do something like that with, say, Roe v. Wade, what do you think the reaction in this country would be?

When Nappy was Governor she wanted to help illegals any way possible... then she found out that we weren't going to let her get away with it. She is a two-faced bitch on wheels... Don't even get me started with Dear Leader :livid:

Arizona can always round them up, put them in a plane and drop them off in New Mexico.
Parachutes optional, of course.

Uhh, excuse me. We don't want them.

On second thought, if they're dropped from 15K feet and no parachutes, maybe it's okay. Our buzzards will take care of the rest. No need to spend tax money cleaning up.

Our governor is trying to get rid of them too. The problem is the dem controlled legislature that's blocking her at every turn.

No! No! No! Have a heart!

We already have enough folks at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, *now* that don't belong there! ... :evil-grin:

On the lawn, in the ballrooms, or wherever!

Looking forward to getting rid of the two most despicable ones come Jan. 2013!!!
