Why I hate my job...

Until something better comes along that is more stable and full time, I am supplementing my lack of income by working for an agency that does contract work for health insurance companies. I go to medical care providers, pull and scan medical charts for the insurance companies so they can probably give a big "fuck you" to the doctor and to the patient.

I knew I hated my job when the physician came to the office, put his hand on my shoulder and asked that I somehow convince the insurance company to help one of his patients who desperately needs a medication covered.

Of course, this was completely out of my control and he understood that, but he was voicing his own frustration when it comes to providing care for his patients.

This is why I hate my job and why I hope I can get out of it as fast as possible. I despise insurance companies and I do not want to help them in this way.

I need a shower.

10. I can empathize. I've had very little luck searching for work
over the last year and half. But thats because I skip over all the job ads that involve harassing, scamming, or further disenfranchising the rest of the 99%.waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.

No one will pay me $150,000 with cadillac benefits to post on DU all day.

Maybe the insurance comany is just keeping the doctors honest? Over the years they found several doctors billing for shit that was never done costing all of us healthcare premiums. So much for being in favor of true health care reform....:evil-grin:
