Happy Uber-Natonalist Day!

I suppose this is the day we celebrate rich land-owning white Christian men winning their independence. This is the day when were supposed to realize that we're better than anyone else, that our country is uniquely blessed by God, beat our chests, and drink.

Unfortunately for many people in the United States, this day really isn't one to celebrate.
Praise God that I'm not unhappy and pitiful as people like this guy.

Btw, Cerridwen is bat-crap crazy as evidenced in this and other threads on DU. That is all. :smile-new:

you're a white Christian male, preferably earning at least $200,000.00 annually. I myself am a 64 year old white male atheist busting my ass to make $13.00/hr as a blue collar jobber. And yes, I have a degree in the so-called hard sciences and a large part of another one (also in the "hard sciences") that I never quite got around to finishing though I was in good standing. In addition, I also have 16 years experience in biomedical research and excellent references, but these days that doesn't seem to count for much. Well, what the hell? God bless the fascist state. Right? Right. So, because man isn't using his degree and is sooooooo oppressed we are a "fascist state"?
