Will it be legal to carry concealed weapons at the GOP convention?

Republicans want concealed weapons to be legal to carry in bars, churches, near schools and virtually everyplace else imaginable. So what about their own convention?

Don't count on it. They won't let guns within a mile of the place. The Republican powers that be are well aware that their party is composed of the insane, the bugshit insane, and those who have gone so far beyond insane that there's no term to describe them.

Nonetheless, were concealed weapons to be allowed at their convention, it would make for far more interesting viewing than just the same old dull, meaningless speeches.

Till you were handled of course...:friendly_wink:

Let me help you. The term you seek is "liberal". :smile-new:

You can carry as long as the media shows pics of the carrier from the shoulders down, with their weapon, and gasp at how the racist teabagger might kill someone because of their race.

But then you're silenced by it once you find out it was a black dude that doesn't care for 0bambi's politics that was carrying all along.

Yes, DUmmie, it will be legal for Americans to exercise their Second Amendment rights at the GOP convention (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2012/05/rick-scott-concealed-weapons-republican-convention-/1).

Wow, a governor that PROTECTED the Constitution? I'm impressed, only a liberal would want to ban firearms for law-abiding citizens in an event where tons of people are gathered and where with that number of people there's a chance of some wackjob wanting spray his/her illegally obtained weapon that they're most likely not even trained on using.

No guns allowed in schools? Surely, no criminal could conceal a weapon and kill a bunch of kids before the 1-2 SRO officers come running and get shot themselves.
