1760 - At the site of present day Ojinaga, Chihuahua, the Presidio del Norte was completed.

1887 - In Panhandle, TX, the Panhandle Herald was published for the first time.

2009 - Federal drug agents and Los Angeles police searched the Houston clinic of Conrad Murray. Murray was Michael Jackson's personal physician at the time of Jackson's death.
