"Iím in over my head"
"The economyís bad, itís all my fault and I canít fix it."

Those are two pretty accurate campaign slogans for the Obama-Biden campaign as formuated, via some creative editing done by TBSís Conan, from Obamaís speeches.

In playing the video at the end of his program on Thursday night, FNCís Bret Baier explained: ďWith just a few weeks left until the Democratic convention, one late night show insists President Obama and Vice President Biden are continuing to try out and search for the perfect general election campaign slogan.Ē

It does make you wonder what other slogans they might come up with. How about:

Dumb and Dumber Redo: 2012!

"Come on man. I'm serious". That one actually has a chance. :biggrin-new:

By the way, what happened to Julia? Did the government handouts run out and now she has no idea how to function in society? Where is that chick?

What happened to "betting on America"? And what the heck happened to Hope and Change? I give Forward another month. It won't last.

It was replaced by "I'm betting on China." :evil-grin:

I'm glad to see that Conan is taking on the Democrats, at least once in a while. Letterman might as well file his monologue as an in-kind contribution to the DNC.

Now, while those are pretty good slogans, they really aren't slogans so much as soundbites. We can do better. How about:

Obama: Managing the Decline of America
Forward to Nowhere
Failure is not an option. It's a policy.
You Didn't Make That
The Private Sector is Doing Fine
Obama: Now with four years of executive experience!
No, you can't

The Private Sector is Doing FineI think he hired the old Iraqi Information Minister for that one. Remember that guy?...

"There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!" :biggrin-new:
