And this is in Michigan? Just wow! I’d like to see the real figures from the Rats’ internal polling. It’s probably even worse.

Wow, Obama is up by only 43% to 42%, easily within the margin of error. That’s the second Michigan poll to show this.

Hey Michigan,
Obviously RAT rule in your state isn't working. Your governor is a complete dud. The mayor of Detroit is in jail.
Why do you continue to elect “leaders” that can't get the job done.Shake it up and vote McCain/Palin.

I don’t know how hard McCain’s campaign is hitting Michigan, but I surely hope it’s hitting hard. With a democratic Gov that has proven to be detrimental to it’s economy, one could only think that MI would be ripe for the picking for McCain. but then again, democrats are gluttons for punishment and never learn from their mistakes, especially in Detroit.

At this point the Dems are sueing Terri Lynn Land for what they are calling disenfrancising Dem voters. I don’t know the details but basically, the State is purging voting roles of people who have their voter registration returned marked “wrong address” etc., and they are purging roles of people who are now recorded to live out of State and have driver’s licenses from other states. Of course the Dem party is claiming this is a way to take Dem voters off the roles. I’ll try to find a link but bottom line is that it doesn’t matter what the polls are doing - the Dems are doing their best to steal the election outright (what a surprise!).

Here’s the deal. Between Acorn, the ACLU and others, the threat of voter fraud is very real. I’m in the process of qualifying as a poll challenger in SW MI and I encourage fellow freepers to do the same. IMHO, this is the best donation of time & talent we can provide our ticket. Take two minutes to google “Acorn” & “Fraud” & I think you’ll agree.
In Michigan, the first step is to go to the state’s GOP website.

Ahem, it isn't "Michigan." It is some of the major urban areas in Michigan: Detroit, Saginaw, Lansing, Battle Creek, Grand Rapids, etc. (the last two are fairly recent, as people have been moving up from Chicago) Also, the unions are a problem still.
We outstaters can vote ourselves red, but it doesn't do any good when those cities are allowed to cheat.

CLEARLY - LAYING GROUNDWORK TO STEAL THE ELECTION FOR THE DEMS - GO TERRI LYNN! Check out the following article . .
Voting rights lawsuit targets state
Groups claim voters are being disenfranchised.

LANSING — A student group and the state American Civil Liberties Union are suing the state of Michigan over voting registration practices they say could disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters.
The lawsuit, filed this week in federal court in Detroit, says Michigan is too quick to remove people from voting rolls if they get driver’s licenses in other states or if their voter registration cards are returned as undeliverable.
The groups argue the secretary of state’s office must confirm a person has moved to another state before removing him or her from the rolls. They also say federal law allows voters to remain on the rolls for at least two federal elections after their registration cards are returned.
But a spokeswoman for the secretary of state’s office said Michigan has been cleaning up its voter lists for decades using these methods without any opposition. Kelly Chesney said the office had not been served with the lawsuit by midafternoon Thursday, so state lawyers were reacting to what they had read in press reports about the groups’ complaints.
“It appears that they are challenging Michigan’s Motor Voter Law — passed in 1975 — that later served as a model for the (1993) National Voter Registration Act,” Chesney said.
The plaintiffs in the case are the United States Student Association and the ACLU of Michigan. The parties have asked the federal court to schedule a hearing as soon as possible and to enter an immediate temporary injunction barring more purges under those programs.
“With Michigan set to be one of the most important battleground states in this election and turnout predicted to be the highest in state history, we are going to do everything we can to make sure that every vote counts and that nobody is illegally purged from the voter rolls,” ACLU of Michigan executive director Kary Moss said in a statement released Thursday.
Jonathan Doster of USSA said “it’s just not fair to deny someone the right to vote just because they are an out-of-state student or they don’t get a piece of mail.”
The suit was filed against Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land, state elections director Chris Thomas and Ypsilanti City Clerk Frances McMullen.
