Go on. I bet you can guess.

Obama can do no wrong with these people. If he says there's a downpour, they actually see a downpour! Unbelievable!

Weather had nothing to do with why they moved his speech. The simple fact is that they moved it because there was no way he would come close to filling a stadium. His days of being a rock star are over. He is nothing but a washed up has-been. Over exposure killed his career. So now he is stuck playing small clubs, parties, fairs, amusement parks, and bar mitzvahs.

Over-exposure and under-achievement.

Uh, you should probably not lie about things that are so easy to verify. You just look silly.

These are my favorite quotes. I think people are finally seeing how outrageous the media is getting in their slavish devotion to the appointed one.

Who on earth would ever - EVER - consider having an event of national importance, which lasts for days, outside!?

Would anyone here do that? Is the weather EVER so predictable in September that we can count on it to co-operate for 3 solid days?

Says a lot about the nincompoops running the Democratic Party.:single_eye:

Whenever I plan anything for an outdoor venue, I put together a contingency plan for inclement weather. That's just basic, common sense, and the first thing that you learn when you are put in charge of any event. One of the critical questions that I am always asked is whether the contingency plan will accommodate the same audience. If not, then I have to justify the smaller venue. If the weather is bad enough to warrant the alternate venue, then it can suppress turnout, as well, but for a convention, where you have tens of thousands of people who have already paid their way, and are going to want to attend the climactic event, that's not a sustainable assumption. The only way that someone would choose that site is if they know that it will accommodate the audience, based on ticket sales.

They knew, going in, that they could not fill the arena, and the rest is spin.

They thought Obama had the godlike power to change the weather.

They thought Obama had the godlike power to change the weather. If only the evil Rethuglicans hadn't stopped him from stopping the oceans from rising, it wouldn't have rained within a week of the DNC in Charlotte. In September. In the South. Clearly, this is yet another piece of evidence that global warming will kill us all within the next three months if we don't embrace global socialism.

I still get a kick out of the one idiot reporter who photographed the water from a brief rain shower running down his front windshield and called it a downpour (or something to that effect).

I think whoever they had forcasting that event size should be fired. The moron didn't take into account the fact that obama is no where near as popular as he was in 2008.

I was watching The Weather Channel last week, Wednesday and Thursday, because of this dispute. They showed a radar map with a green precip area over the Carolinas in that time frame.

I'm sure that The Weather Channel made up those maps in order to help the President.
