So in honor of some the recipe threads on spicy foods and several posters love of all things spicy and hot,

list your favorite Hot sauces

Two of favorite brands are anything by Blair's and Tahiti Joe products. They make the most flavorful ones with heat IMO.

My two favs are

Tahiti Joe Ahi of Kahuna

Blair's Pure Death sauce

These are pretty hot, but not "extreme". But they are still too hot for the average person. Don't be scared of the jolokia pepper in the Blair's. There's just enough to give it some flavor, but nothing like the heat from actually eating one.

That's a good old standard. VERY tasty.

But not hot enough for me anymore.

Add cayenne powder to taste and simmer at very low heat, cholula is available in a half gallon size now on Amazon.

I like Crystal. I know it's weak compared to a lot of hot sauces, but I like the vinegar/sweet taste combined with the heat. It's good on everything, including scrambled eggs (for some reason, it bothers my nieces to watch me put hot sauce on scrambled eggs).

That one is particularly good as a basting sauce for wings.

Chicken , beef steaks , pork , hamburgers , eggs , potato salads (sounds strange but quite good), soups, etc.

357 is very hot. I put a drop on a chip and had stomach pain for about 10 minutes. 357,000 Scoviles is top notch. I can only handle about 100K.

Sracha is great stuff on pizza.
