The race for Ohio’s Electoral College votes remains very close but now Mitt Romney now has a two-point advantage.


The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Ohio Voters shows Romney with 50% support to President Obama’s 48%. One percent (1%) likes some other candidate, while another one percent (1%) remains undecided.

This is amazing news though. It's the first time that Rasmussen has given Romney the lead there, and I'm inclined to believe it.

It's going to come down to voter turnout. We conservatives know that. Liberals are not so well informed, nor are they so well motivated. And that is worth a good 5 points.

It won't. Bad weather lowers turnout among less motivated voters. Right now, the enthusiasm gap favors Republicans, who would vote in a blizzard. Obama's voters lack much in the way of motivation, and are looking for excuses to stay home.
