As topic says. If you think they will. How many seats do you think they will gain?

Me? This Pres election taught me to not take things for granite and don't count any chickens until they are hatched. As far a Repub gain? I don't think it will happen. I think the Dems will control both after the Mids. At which point, Nancy Pelosi will be Speaker again, and we will be on a fast track to hell ...

*sigh*

No , the Democrats will gain more seats in the senate, and possibly retake the house.

The Republican party is dead, they should sell their website and name.

I agree... The thought of a one party system is becoming more and more prevalent.

It's here, all joking aside the Democrat party also controls the Republican party. The sooner we start a conservative party the better, it my take 10 years to win anything but winning with the counterfeit conservative piece of crap we have now is not winning at all.

Not if Dianne Feinsteen introduces that bill.

I have no idea how that will turn out but would not be surprised if Republicans were to vote right along with the dems.

Yeah, we need a real conservative in office. Not a RINO that will always vote with the Dems.

Feinstein passing a gun control bill like what she wants can seriously hurt the Dem party. Then we all know that people will still vote for the Dems because they are the ones who are willing to give handouts to everyone who supports them. The stupid will vote for anyone who gives them a phone .. Gah!

I know you want to believe that, but in reality the people who view themselves (important distinction) as being on welfare are not sufficient in number to keep the Democratic Party in power.

Romney didn't lose because some elusive conservative majority stayed home, Obama won because the Center elected him. The Center elected him because the Democratic Party has the right planks on social issues. The religious right doesn't define conservatism, it defines a narrow and ignorant vision for the nation.

The Third Party needs to be a nationalist Centrist party that supports Single Payer Healthcare, sound energy planning, responsible use of the military, closed borders, accelerated productive degree programs, and vocational education to lay the groundwork for somewhat isolationist policies.

Nova you won, you got your wish, you don't need a third party for your goals, you have a socialist party with no morals in power.
As far as your single payer goes, Obama care is designed to bankrupt insurance companies and drive people to a mandatory single payer system.
Not only have you won but the opposition is virtually destroyed, before long it will be so impotent it won't even effect decisions.
the only question for you to ask would be whether your dream is sustainable, the socialist experiment will be played out until the end now. there is nothing stopping it.

Cool story bro...you should write the script for the next Twilight film...or become a speech writer for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

I don't think we can handicap number of seats this far out, other than to say the President's party usually loses ground in the midterm. By the 2014 election, "Obamacare" will be in full swing, and it will likely be a referendum on how that is going.

BTW, taking it "for granite" is hilarious! Unless you were serious....:apologetic::frown-new:

Fredo won because of some class warfare bullshit about success is evil and some crap about a non-existent Republican war on women. He lied his way in and the dopes bought it.

What has all this sports info to do with whether or not the GOP ".... will control both House and Senate after the Mids?"

Nothing. It was a troll who took advantage of CU not having an overnight Mod to take a giant dump on the rug.

Every single welfare bum in this country voted for obama this time because he promised them the moon and a Bentley Continental. The after effects of it will drift to the midterms and cause the Dems to win big time, gaining control of the House and retaining the Senate. Thus making Nancy 'psycho bitch' Pelosi house speaker again, and running us on a speed rail right to hell.

In understandable terms: The lazy and entitlement hounds will always vote Dem because they know they are the ones who will not force them to get off their lazy dead beat ass to get a job. The Dems support the lazy and love raising taxes on people who work for what they got (Which is why they are called the Welfare party). Force the ones who like to do for themselves support the ones who are too stupid and too lazy to support themselves. And they wonder why this country sucks anymore... Stupid liberals and their socialistic dictatorship bull shit.

The 47% of the people who voted for obama are the lazy and the stupid. They are the inept and ridiculous. They are the brain dead and, again, the stupid ... The other percents that voted for him are just plain stupid.

'Way too far out to say. But if Obama's insane economic and foreign policy bullshit doesn't start to actually catch up with us and directly result in the sort of disasters it will eventually lead to by then, we'll be lucky to keep the House, since about 55% of the country will be beholden to the Dems for one kind of handout check or another by then.

I don't think that the dems will retake the House before the next census/redistricting cycle, which is 2020+. In order to do so, the dems will also have to get more governors from their party than they currently have in office.

Building a greater lead in the Senate is possible, but there are limits to that, also.
