Too funny to pass up. :biggrin-new:

NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - A federal grand jury on Friday charged former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin with 21 counts of public corruption, including bribery and fraud related to his dealings with city vendors following the 2005 Hurricane Katrina disaster.

I wonder if he'll ask for a change of venue. I would imagine that the people who have stuck by New Orleans since Katrina won't be pleased to hear that Nagin allegedly skimmed money out of the relief funds.

It's ironic that Bush dealt with NO faster than Barack did the NE. And not surprising that Nagin, like his fellow dims, didn't want to waste a good opportunity to cash in.

Maybe. And thats a BIG maybe... in another 10 years or so after theyre sure this is off of everyones radar. If not... hell, this is a resume enhancement for the Democrat party.

Or if he does go to prison, this is STILL a resume enhancement for when he gets out.

If Elliot Spitzer, Al Sharpton, Teddy Kennedy and the rest of the various Democrats who have committed felonies and walked can continue to function in polite society, then there is nothing that a Democrat can do that will tarnish his rep, as long as he remains a loyal party member.

Over 1000 people died on his watch during Katrina alone.

He's got blood on his hands.

Yes, but as Hillary said in her testimony, "What difference does it make?" The democrats have made it clear that they are not accountable.
