It looks like they stole everything they could from the looks of US, Britian and Europe current designs, and with Star Wars thrown in, to fabricate a mockup to.................http://members.socket.net/~mcruzan/avatars/shrug.gif

Now they need to borrow China's refurbished Russian aircraft carrier and they will have the complete action set.

It looks like they are displaying it in a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop.

Even if it did fly, they have no one qualified to fly it into combat in any sort of effective manner.

Bring it on. (yawn)

This may be why Obama was practicing with the shotgun.

It's supposed to be stealth. They really adapted the technology from our drone rather quickly, didn't they.

I wonder if Revel knows Iran stole plans from one of their model kits?

It looks like a life-sized version of a futuristic model plane that my brother put together in the 70s.

It looks more like ether a mock up, or photo op.

I'm sure any of our military fly boys here could pick this apart.

First the cockpit.

Few instruments, tiny. Even less wiring behind the front panel.

The small nose cone. Fit any radar in there?

I would love to see him with the canopy down. He would be hunched over.

Note they don't show it taking off or landing. Only a brief flight. To me looks more like a working mock up of that drone of ours they captured. With a cockpit put in for looks. Likely radio controlled.

This is what I see while sitting in a sailplane (glider). Nothing there that I don't need to stay in the air. Funny, how close this view is to the view in their "fighter".

Aviation Experts Debunk Iran’s Stealth Fighter Jet Claims (http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/trending-now/aviation-experts-debunk-iran-stealth-fighter-jet-claims-182601002.html)

By Mia Trovato (http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/author/mia-trovato-20130123/) | Trending Now (http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/trending-now/) – 8 hrs ago

The development of a new Iranian stealth fighter attracted a lot of attention over the weekend. But aviation experts are now questioning whether the jet is even real.

This weekend pictures and video were released of Iranian military officials surveying what looked like a fully operational Q-313. Aeronautics experts, including David Cenciotti of the blog The Aviationist (http://theaviationist.com/2013/02/02/iran-new-stealth-fighter/#.UQ_8IVqb_U4), quickly pointed out some serious design flaws.

For example, the wiring of the cockpit's front panel appears too simple and the cockpit seems too small for a pilot to fit inside. Perhaps more importantly, Cenciotti claims the plane's back engine contains no nozzle for afterburners, which means the heat would probably melt the entire jet. He further speculates that the video of the plane coasting through the air was mostly likely a radio-controlled version.

The video of the plane's unveiling released to YouTube was met with mockery from viewers. There are upward of 150,000 views and counting. One person joked, "I built one of those when I was a kid. I wonder what type of glue they used?"
