President Obama to Rev. Sharpton: 'Best of Times and the Worst of Times for African Americans'
President Obama gave his take on Black History Month during an interview conducted with Al Sharpton this afternoon.

OBAMA: The other thing is, obviously, to reflect on where we've made progress and where we are still falling short. And you know, I think these are both the best of times and the worst of times for large portions of the African American community. I think if you work hard and you have opportunity, and you're able to take advantage of it, the sky is the limit for African Americans in our country in a way that just wasn't true a generation ago.

On the other hand, the lingering effects of the great recession means there are whole lot of communities and whole lot people who are still out of work, still struggling and thatís why some of initiatives I talked about at the State of the Union are so important.

We've got to make sure that as a society that we are creating ladders of opportunity for every child, not just a few.

On the other hand, the lingering effects of the great recession...For crying out loud you jerkoff, take responsibility for something. It's going on five years now. You were president during a recovery. Presidents and the economy flourish during a recovery. Yours sucked. Lowest growth during a recovery of any president in history. Economy contracted during your recovery, US debt downgraded during your recovery, more people stuck on the teat during your recovery.

Your policies are the worst. Everyone knows this, they are too afraid to tell you. My goodness this man is a piece of shit.

This is what needs to happen every time Fuckstick Sharpton pokes his racist head up out of a hole anywhere. Doesn't matter where or when: BSNBC, on a Sunday show, out in public somehwere, ANYWHERE. He just needs to be completely drowned out by shouts of "Tawana Brawley."

We've got to make sure that as a society that we are creating ladders of opportunity for every child, not just a few.

And when that child ascends that ladder, and realizes the opportunities that we have made available, we will tell him that he didn't build the ladder, and tax him back to poverty, and if he objects, we will demonize him in the media and send union thugs and Occupy Wall Street to terrorize him in his home and his place of business.

Oh, and if he's going to quote Dickens, we should help him:

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of mindless moonbat gibberish, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of federal mandates against acting on belief, it was the season of Light, it was the season of over-regulated lightbulbs, it was the summer of recovery, it was the fall of the economy, we had everything before us, we had looming debt, collapsing infrastructure and national decline before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way, or would be, if the powers that be admitted belief in either--in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

No... Sharpton is a racial huckster, arsonist and rabble-rouser, and he'd be a cheap con artist no matter what his ethnic background.
