She has been swollen for a week and a half since she was bit by a timber rattler.
Now she can't get a date because of the fat face.

Her ma got bit 2 weeks before and is back to normal, they always get it in the face when they graze the brush, after this year the goats will have all the low cover eaten and the timber rattlers will move, they need cover.

You must have tough goats to survive those rattler bites. Hope they stay away from those nasty rattlers.

If they are less than a year old it kills them, I lost a 9 month old one last fall.

Rebecca is almost as attractive as before, just a little swelling on her chin.

This is her mother, I don't know how she keeps her figure after 3 sets of twins, she is still as lovely as when she was a teenager.

I bought that piece of property after the one I live on and have never done anything to it, I put electric fence around it in November so the goats could clean it up, on most of it I have never seen the ground because the weeds and vines were so thick you couldn't walk through. You could drop a dime on the ground and find it now.

I sold two-more goats today and 4 last weekend. I have 3 to butcher and 3 more to sell and I will have the goat population back under control.
Next I have to thin out the sheeps.

Rebecca's mother Becker has a crooked horn now, they were all snoozing under the truck this morning and apparently she didn't get up when the truck started and I drove over her head, I felt a bump this morning kinda like driving over a brick and when I looked in the rear view mirror there was nothing in the road and the goats were standing by the road like nothing was wrong.
She was begging for some sweet feed that the dairy goats get when I milk and I noticed one horn aimed the wrong way. She'll probably end up an asymmetrical unicorn.

Becker died in her sleep last night, she didn't look like she even moved and I thought she was sleeping still curled up in her house.
She must have had a blood clot or something, she had been doing fine for the last month after she had her head run over, she was a nice goat.

That was Fifi, she died when she was 6 months, her and Becker were my favorites because they were both unusual, but I lost them both now.

I have lots of kids every year, I sold three this spring that were trained to ride on a golf cart, they ride with with the whole family whenever one of them uses the golf cart around their place, they text me all the time telling me how fun that trio is.

If you didn't specifically say so in the OP, I would have had no idea that cow had a fat face.

I don't know about the rest of the east (eastern US, right?), but NC has them.

When I went back to the old home place a few years ago, a neighbor (and distant cousin of course) had a field where there were horses, donkeys, cows, and goats all in one place. The goats seemed to control the center of the field and the largest area. It was strange looking.

I am guessing NJ doesn't have any Rattlesnakes. I should have said Northeast.
