Sergei Lavrov chided the US administration two days after President Barack Obama scrapped a summit with Mr Putin when Russia granted asylum to Edward Snowden, the fugitive US spy.

"We need to work as grown-ups," he told a press conference in Washington alongside John Kerry, the US Secretary of State. "This is what we do. And we hope that this will be reciprocal".

Mr Obama reacted furiously this week to Russia's approval of temporary asylum for Mr Snowden, a National Security Agency contractor who gave secret documents to the media.

That's the problem with liberalism/progressivism isn't it? The entire concept is born out of not wanting to grow up, wanting someone to take care of you. Thinking that you can change the world and make it all puppy dogs and rainbows.

The Russians have all the cards in this game, they are rope-a-doping Obozo shamelessly, which must be amusing the Hell out of everyone on the planet who gets their news from sources besides the slavishly-loyal US press.

I don't want to see anything happen to Snowman, but Putin is pretty much a tyrant at times. We shouldn't be friendly with him to begin with.

There is an old saying. Never turn your back on an enemy.

POTUS is an empty suit that is used to getting his way because he's black. Or half black.

The world is laughing at him and the half of the American people that voted TWICE for him.
