You guys are a day late and dollar slow. Ironically, it disappeared the moment I posted it here.

press the "print screen" button on your keyboard. This copies the contents of your screen to the clipboard.

Open up Paint (start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Paint) or (start -> run -> mspaint) or (windows+r -> mspaint)

Select Paste.

Use the clip tool to remove whatever you don't want others to see.

Save & upload to your favorite image sharing service (e.g. http://imageshack.us)

Get MWSnap. It's free and you can run it in the background. It makes doing screen caps very easy and quick. ;)
