ACORN office in Vegas raided in voter-fraud probe

Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote.

A Nevada secretary of state's office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.

No one was at the ACORN office when state agents arrived with a search warrant and began carting records and documents away.

Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh says ACORN is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with false and duplicate names.

The raid comes two months after state and federal authorities formed a task force to pursue election-fraud allegations in Nevada.

LAS VEGAS - Nevada authorities seized records Tuesday from a group they accused of submitting fraudulent voter-registration forms including for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys.

"Tony Romo is not registered to vote in the state of Nevada, and anybody trying to pose as Terrell Owens won't be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 4," said Secretary of State Ross Miller, referring to star players on the pro football team.

<portions snipped>Ha. If you're going to be a scumbag and commit voter fraud may as well commit it with the Dallas Cowboys.

Check one of those forms for Jessica Simpson.

Just heard that there's nowan investigation in Independence, Missouri, which initially came up with about 80 obviously fraudulent registrations. Fox also said that in one county in Indiana, out of about 2,200 new registrations, 1,100 are fradulent.

I hope they check the City of St Louis. I bet they'd get an eyeful there.
