(CNN) -- At 14 feet long and 2,300 pounds, it's only fitting that Katharine is heading for the land where everything is bigger.

This massive great white shark was most recently spotted 100 miles off the Florida coast in the Gulf of Mexico, headed toward Texas. And as of June 5, another great white, Betsy, was about 140 miles west of Sarasota, Florida.

Yikes! There's actually 2 of them headed towards Texas.

I just read where they are tracking four of them in the gulf. These sharks have been tagged, so there are probably a lot more of them. They are Atlantic sharks that migrated from the New England area. Two tagged sharks are currently hanging around New York.

I'm on the Pacific coast and we have great white sightings here from time to time. Not sure about their migration patterns.
