This is something we make for a quick and easy dinner a few times a month. Call 'em "Freedom Dip" if ya like!

Homemade French Dip Sandwiches

3/4-1 lb medium-thin sliced deli roast beef

1 8oz package of sliced Provolone

4 bakery-fresh hoagie rolls

1 packet of Au Jus sauce mix

Prepare the Au Jus as directed. Take the roast beef and place in a large microwave safe bowl or container and ladle about 3-4 tablespoon of Au Jus over the meat so it doesn't quite cover it. Nuke for about 2 and half minutes or until the meat is just hot enough and cooked through (or less if you like it slightly rare). Slice the top of the hoagie rolls and layer in the meat (keep in mind the meat will be a little warm to pick up). Place a slice or two of Provolone on top of the beef. (I also sautee onion and mushrooms for my French Dip, but it is just as good without). Microwave the sandwich for just about 45 seconds to melt the cheese. Serve with a dish of Au Jus dipping sauce.

We also bake frozen seasoned fries in the oven to go with these delicious sandwiches, as well. Pure yummy goodness!

Sorry, I hate the thought of floaties in my food. It's why I was never a fan of a bowl of cereal.
